Dr Petrina Kat –
Specialist Orthodontist
Dr Petrina Kat discovered her passion for orthodontics as a teenager undergoing treatment herself. After graduating from the University of Adelaide in 1995 with a Dentistry degree, she practised as a general dentist before being accepted into the highly selective Orthodontic Specialist Training Program. She completed her specialist qualifications in 2000 and has worked exclusively in orthodontics ever since. Dr Kat loves working with children, teens and adults, and finds great joy in seeing her patients’ confidence transform throughout treatment.
Dr Darren Di Iulio –
Specialist Orthodontist
After obtaining his general dental qualifications at the University of Adelaide, Dr Darren Di Iulio spent a decade as a private practice dentist while also teaching undergraduate dental students. His interest in complex bite and restorative cases led him back to university, where he completed his specialist training in orthodontics. Dr Di Iulio joined his wife Dr Kat in 2007, bringing with him a strong background in comprehensive dental care and interdisciplinary treatment planning — particularly for adult patients requiring both orthodontic and restorative collaboration.
