Extra Precautions To Protect Our Staff & Patients

On top of universal precautions which include:

• Hand washing and/ or sanitising before every patient
• Cleaning all surfaces in the surgery after each procedure
• Sterilising all instruments
• Wearing of masks and protective glasses

We’re also taking the following precautions to protect our staff and patients:

• Please ring to inform the surgery if you are feeling unwell, have a temperature, headache or cough. We are happy to re-appoint you
• To reduce the number of people in the waiting room:
• Appointment times have been made longer to spread patients out
• We ask that all patients only attend with one family member
• Spacing of waiting room chairs
• Removal of magazines and toys from the waiting room
• Regular cleaning of all surfaces in the waiting rooms and reception area
• No handling of cash. Please pay by Credit Card, EFTPOS or direct debit
• Social distancing – please do not lean over the Reception desk and try to keep behind the line marked on the floor
